Gratitude to Governor Pavlovich for reviving commercial flight to Puerto Peñasco

During a recent press conference, Sonora Tourism Coordinator Jesús Antonio Berumen announced the launch of accessibly priced commercial flights to improve aerial connectivity to Puerto Peñasco, bringing the states of Chihuahua and Baja California along with parts of Sonora closer. The flights, which are to start July 21st, will connect Puerto Peñasco with the cities of Cd. Juárez, Hermosillo, and Tijuana-San Diego twice a week, with schedules running Thursdays and Sundays. This will place our destination in stronger contact with the rest of the country. Héctor Vázquez del Mercado, President of the Puerto Peñasco Convention and Visitors Bureau (OCV – Peñasco), stated local resort and hotel service providers thank the State Government under the leadership of Governor Claudia Pavlovich for the tremendous boost this tourism port has received. He added the flights will revive all productive sectors in the community with the need to shorten travel times and distances for both vacation and business activities. Vázquez del Mercado further recognized the TAR airline for continuing to trust in our State, and particularly in Puerto Peñasco as a destination that little by little has made firm strides in becoming a preferred spot among our visitors, who have discovered the area offers many unexpected marvels.]]>
