A moving groundbreaking event marked the start of the impressive Encántame Soleil resort development, part of Encántame Resorts, which is projected to be the tallest condominium complex in Sonora.
Sonora Governor Alfonso Durazo, along with prominent business leader Miguel Guevara Askar, Sonora Tourism Secretary Roberto Gradillas and Puerto Peñasco mayor Jorge Pivac, joined together to celebrate the launch of this extraordinary project.
At 25 stories, Encántame Soleil will be home to the tallest buildings in Sonora, representing yet another milestone on Puerto Peñasco’s tourism landscape.
The estimated investment for this ambitious project tops 1.8 billion dollars, demonstrating the trust and interest put into this beautiful region.
“As a tourist destination, we feel privileged to have a development of such magnitude; surely, this will be a catalyst to expand different segments of tourism in the area. We reaffirm our commitment to facilitating these types of projects that contribute to the growth and prosperity of Puerto Peñasco,” expressed Governor Durazo.
During the working tour to the area, Governor Durazo also visited the neighboring city of Sonoyta. There, accompanied by Sonoyta mayor Enrique Valdez and Mark Sanders, Arizona Director of International and Foreign Affairs, they kicked off the start of work to modernize Blvd. Benemérito de las Américas.
This important roadway improvement project will provide for a more dynamic connection between the border in Lukeville, AZ and the highway to Puerto Peñasco, easing access for tourism to our beautiful beaches.
The future looks bright in Puerto Peñasco, and full of opportunities and exciting projects that will continue to strengthen our position as one of the most outstanding tourism destinations in Mexico.
